  • क्या डेटा एकत्र किया जाएगा, इसे कब तक संग्रहीत किया जाएगा और इसका उपयोग किन कार्यों में किया जाएगा, इस पर केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से पर्याप्त जानकारी उपलब्ध नहीं है। 
  • सरकार ऐसी कोई गारंटी नहीं दे रही कि हालात सुधरने के बाद इस डेटा को नष्ट कर दिया जाएगा।
  • इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सर्विलांस के जरिये एकत्रित किये जा रहे डेटा के प्रयोग में लाए जाने से निजता के अधिकार का हनन होने के साथ ही सर्वोच्च न्यायलय के आदेश का भी उल्लंघन होगा जिसमें निजता के अधिकार को संवैधानिक अधिकार बताया गया है।
  • जिस तरह आधार नंबर एक सर्विलांस सिस्टम बन गया है और उसे हर चीज़ से जोड़ा जा रहा है वैसे ही कोरोना वायरस से जुड़े एप्लिकेशन में लोगों का डेटा लिया जा रहा है जिसमें उनका स्वास्थ्य संबंधी डेटा और निजी जानकारियाँ भी शामिल हैं। अभी यह सुनिश्चित नहीं है कि सरकार किस प्रकार और कब तक इस डेटा का उपयोग करेगी।
