Understand the big changes in the CoWIN portal after citizen complaints, before getting vaccinated!

People were confused due to issues related to registration on the portal

New Delhi: People across the country are being encouraged to take the corona vaccine. But people were confused by the lack of vaccines and problems related to registration on the portal. Meanwhile, the government is fully prepared to improve the system. In this connection, significant changes have been made in the CoWIN Portal. These changes have eliminated some of the complaints. Also some such facilities have been added. This will make registration easier.

Since May 1, the government has started vaccinating people above 18 years of age. For this, registration is being done on the Covin portal. A large number of people had registered on the first day. Since then, there have been many complaints from people in this regard. People openly mentioned these issues on social media. With this in mind, the government has now made significant changes to the Covin portal.

ne of the biggest changes to the CoWIN Portal is the digital code feature. At the time of registration, the user’s mobile will receive a 4-digit digital security code, which must be kept secure. This code has to be given after vaccination. Only then will the vaccine status of the person concerned be improved. That is to say, it will be assumed only after you have been vaccinated.

Many complained that they were getting the message that the vaccination was completed even without vaccination. After which this new feature has been added. These changes will take effect from May 8, starting today. Vaccination will not take place without a code after this. This new feature implemented on the Covin system is for online booking for vaccinations
