Mumbai: The mentality of the state government is not to take the 12th standard examination like the 10th standard. The state government is paying close attention to the role of the central government in this regard. Because tomorrow, the central government will file an affidavit in the Supreme Court regarding the Class XII examination.
The state government is in the mindset of not taking exams so as not to harm corona as well as students going abroad for higher education. It is learned that the state government has a role to play in passing the assessment system without taking the matriculation examination.
The admission process in foreign universities starts in August, for which the result of class XII is important. 14 lakh students have appeared for the Class XII examination. Given this number, it will not be possible to take the 12th standard examination until the number of corona is reduced.
If the exams are late, the results will not be available till August, so millions of students may be deprived of foreign education. Last year, in the first wave of Corona, the CBSE board had canceled the Class XII examination.
