The administration is working hard to curb the growing number of corona patients in rural Kalyan. District Collector Rajesh Narvekar has decided to impose strict lockdown in Kalyan rural areas.
Collector Narvekar has issued orders in this regard. There will be a strict lockdown from 10 a.m. on Monday (Thu. 10) to 7 a.m. on May 15.
Only clinics and medical will continue during the lockdown period. Only those who sell groceries, vegetables, fruits, milk, dairy, bakery, sweets and food items are allowed to provide home delivery service.
Registration of 54 thousand new patients in the state
The second wave of corona has caused havoc in the state. In the last 24 hours, 54,022 new patients have been registered. So 898 patients have lost their lives due to corona. The comforting thing is that 37 thousand 386 patients have overcome corona. At present the number of patients undergoing treatment in the state is 6 lakh 54 thousand 788. So far, 74,043 people have died due to corona.
