Plasma therapy removed from corona treatment, AIIMS and ICMR issue new guidelines

Plasma therapy has not been found to be beneficial in the treatment of covid patients, in the elimination of serious illnesses, and in the reduction of mortality, as has been studied. Therefore, it has been clarified that plasma therapy should no longer be used.

There is no benefit to plasma therapy

At a meeting last week of the National Task Force-ICMR set up for coronavirus (Coronavirus), all members agreed to remove plasma therapy from coronavirus treatment guidelines, after which the government announced its decision. Plasma therapy has not been found to be effective in the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

The warning was initially given by medical experts

An Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) official said the task force removed plasma therapy by changing the corona treatment guidelines for Kovid-19 patients. It is worth noting that some medical experts and scientists, Principal Scientific Advisor K.K. Vijayaraghavan used plasma therapy for the treatment of Covid-19 in the country as a rational and unscientific use. Plasma experiments have been of no use. In which corona patients could not survive even after plasma therapy.

Less than 3 lakh cases were filed in 24 hours

On Monday, 2,81,386 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in India. After this, the number of infected people in the country increased to 2,49,65,463. This is the lowest number of new cases in a single day in the last 27 days. In the last 24 hours, 4,106 people have died from the infection. The death toll rose to 2,74,390.
