Petrol price hike for the sixth consecutive time in July
Mumbai: Demand for petroleum fuel has increased in the last few days. The crude oil market has once again risen. Fuel prices have risen by two per cent this weekend. Today, petrol price has been increased by 35 paise. Diesel rates have been hiked by 26 paise. In the Delhi market, petrol is priced at Rs 100.91 per liter at Indian Oil pumps on Saturday and diesel at Rs 89.88 per liter. In Mumbai, today’s petrol price has gone up by 34 paise to Rs 106.93. Diesel, on the other hand, has gone up by 28 paise to Rs 97.46 per liter.
In Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 101.01 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.97 per liter. Here the price has gone up by 39 paise and 32 paise respectively. In Chennai today, petrol is priced at Rs 101.67 per liter while diesel is priced at Rs 94.39. Petrol price has been hiked by 30 paise and diesel by 24 paise.
Petrol price hike for the sixth consecutive time in July
Gasoline prices rose for the sixth time in a row in July. Diesel prices have risen for the fourth time. Earlier in June, petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 16 days. In May, petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 16 days. The hike in retail fuel prices has started from May 4, 2021. Earlier, there was no change in petrol and diesel rates for 18 consecutive days during the elections in 5 states. After that, petrol in Delhi has gone up by Rs 10.51 and diesel by Rs 09.15 per liter.
