Mumbai: There is good news for Mumbaikars. Now the journey to Mumbai is going to be much faster. The journey of Mumbaikars is going to be even smoother. This is because the Metro tests will start from May 31 at some places on Metro-2A and Metro 7 routes. After the completion of this work, tests will be conducted on Metro-2A’s Dahisar-Kamaraj Nagar and Charkop Depot route and on Metro-7’s Aarey to Dahisar route.
Mumbaikars will get a big Mumbai Metro gift on May 31. Finally, there is hope for Mumbaikars to start Metro-2A and Metro-7 routes. This route will now be tested. Metro coaches have already arrived in Mumbai. Metros coaches have arrived in Dahisar.
The trial run will be for Dahisar-Andheri (Metro-7) and Dahisar-DN Nagar (Metro-2A). The trial run is starting for both of these routes. A total of 576 coaches are arriving in Mumbai in phases. Metro on both these routes will be driverless. But initially the metro will be run with a driver. The driverless metro will then start when the state-of-the-art system is activated. As Metro coaches are being built in India, each coach has saved Rs 2 crore.
By the end of May, the Metro will run on Metro 2A and Metro 7 routes for Mumbaikar commuters. It is being met by the state government. Meanwhile, Driverless Metro will run in Mumbai. Initially there will be a driver. However, in the future, this unmanned train will be operated using modern technology. Metro trains have already arrived in Mumbai from Bangalore for the trial run for Metro 7 and Metro 2A.
