BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Udayan Raje Bhosale warned the Thackeray government
Mumbai: Elgar was held for Maratha reservation in Kolhapur on Wednesday. After this, Maratha reservation has started gaining momentum in the political circles once again. “The issue of Maratha reservation is becoming more and more serious day by day. Even though all the political leaders are Marathas, the Marathas are getting their hands on it. It has become clear from time to time. (Udayanraje Bhosale warns Thackeray Government Over Maratha Reservation 6 demands) If not taken, serious consequences will have to be faced, ”BJP Rajya Sabha MP Udayan Raje Bhosale has warned the Thackeray government.
BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Udayan Raje Bhosale has written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in this regard and made six demands. Forty years have passed but the Maratha community is deprived of reservation. Therefore, the Maratha community will never back down from this demand till a concrete decision on reservation is taken. There is no doubt that reservation should be given to the Maratha community just like reservation was given to other communities, ‘he has also said.
The government should convene a special session as soon as possible to clear the reservation. So why milk milk water water. But until this decision is actually implemented, other demands of the society should be met immediately. So that the community gets temporary relief. I am presenting the following demands for that. The role of the government should be to reassure the Maratha community at least while taking the next steps, ”said Udayan Raje.
Demands made by Udayan Raje Bhosale for the Maratha community
1) Sarathi Sanstha is an organization that provides educational and business direction to the unemployed students of Maratha community. It is necessary to undertake various activities for the upliftment of the Maratha community through this organization. For this, the office of Sarathi Sanstha should be started in every revenue department. Also, sub-centers of Sarathi Sanstha should be started in every district and education, research and training activities should be carried out there. For this, the organization should provide at least Rs. 1000 crore and build infrastructure.
2) Through Annasaheb Patil Economic Development Corporation, the youth of the Maratha community should get jobs. Also, a program of industry-business creation should be undertaken to create self-employment and make them self-sufficient. For this, at least Rs 2,000 crore should be provided to this corporation. The process for eligibility of beneficiaries should be made easier. The limit of interest repayment by the corporation should be increased from Rs. This should be implemented in the coming session.
3) While the selection process of candidates under Maratha reservation was completed, the state government postponed the recruitment process on September 9, 2020. Therefore, 2185 candidates in the state have not been accommodated by the government. In this case, it is the prerogative of the government to recruit these candidates in the government service and the government should immediately issue appointment letters to these candidates without any negligence.
4) Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vastigraha Allowance Scheme was also given to the students of Maratha community around 100 crore during the last government. Also the benefits should be paid even now. The establishment of settlements in each district is entirely within the purview of the State Government. It should be acted upon immediately. This allowance should be paid till the settlement is formed. Equipped dormitories for Maratha students should be set up at each district headquarters on the lines of government dormitories. So that the inconvenience caused to the Maratha community due to financial difficulties while studying in the cities will be removed. Also, the dormitory subsistence allowance provided by the government is insufficient and this amount should be increased.
