IPL 2021: The IPL tournament has finally been postponed due to the growing crisis in Corona. The BCCI announced this on Tuesday. The BCCI postponed the tournament indefinitely due to the safety of the players due to corona infection even while Boya was in the bubble.

When will the rest of the IPL matches be played?
The BCCI postponed the IPL after 29 matches due to increasing corona infection. Therefore, the remaining matches of the tournament can be held after the T20 World Cup.
IPL League Chairman Brajesh Patel said, “The tournament has been postponed indefinitely. We will consider this in due course. But the chances are slim this month. Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper Riddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra also tested positive for corona.
BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla said, “We may consider organizing it later this year.” It could be held in September. But now only possibilities can be speculated. We are not going to organize the tournament right now. ‘
Earlier, KKR’s Sandeep Warriors and Varun Chakraborty were also found to be infected with corona. Some employees of Ferozeshah Kotla Maidan in Delhi had tested positive for corona.
Australia’s three players had earlier withdrawn from the league. In 2020, the IPL was held in the UAE. But this year it was held in India.
