Increase, new rates apply from today

Expensive CNG PNG in Mumbai
Mahanagar Gas Ltd has hiked CNG and PNG rates in Mumbai. CNG prices have been hiked by Rs 2.58 per kg. Now it has gone up by Rs 51.98 per kg. Earlier, the price had gone up by Rs 49.40 per kg. These rising rates will start from today.
The rate of PNG has been increased by 55 paise per SCM. The domestic pipeline gas rate is Rs 30.40 per unit for slab 1 and Rs 36 per unit for slab 2. Importantly, the increased rates also include taxes.

Important information was given by Mahanagar Gas Limited after the increase in rates of PNG and CNG. CNG is cheaper than petrol, diesel and domestic gas. Public travel will be expensive
The rising prices of Mahanagar Gas Limited also include travel expenses and other expenses. Most auto rickshaw drivers and taxi drivers in Mumbai use CNG fuel. In addition, BEST buses and many private vehicles also use CNG. This will also make public travel more expensive.
On July 8, the rates of CNG and PNG have been increased in Delhi. In Delhi, the price of CNG has been increased by 90 paise per kg. So the price of PNG has gone up. In Delhi, domestic PNG is priced at Rs 28.41 and SCM at Rs 29.66.
