In Rajasthan, people above 18 years of age will get free corona vaccine, CM Ashok Gehlot announced

Ashok Gehlot said that it would have been better if the Government of India had taken the expenses of vaccination for the youth between the age of 18 years and 45 years, like the age of 60 years and above 45 years, then the budget of the states would not have been disturbed.

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced that the corona vaccine will be given free of cost to people above 18 years of age in the state. The Chief Minister said that an amount of about 3000 crores will be spent for this.

The Chief Minister tweeted on Sunday, saying, ‘The Rajasthan government has decided to apply free Kovid vaccine to all the people above 18 years of age in the state by spending an amount of about 3000 crores.’

In another tweet, Ashok Gehlot has said that it would have been better that according to the demand of the state governments, the Government of India would have incurred the cost of vaccination for the youth between the age of 18 years and 45 years, as in the age group of 60 years and above 45 years. So the budget of the states is not disturbed.

Earlier on Sunday, Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maharashtra government, also announced the introduction of the Corona vaccine to everyone in the state for free.

Let me tell you that amid the increasing cases of corona, last week, the Modi government had decided that from May 1, all people above 18 years of age will be vaccinated with the corona vaccine. Since then, many states have announced to give free vaccine to people above 18 years of age.
