The Chief Minister also informed that patients with asymptomatic or mild symptoms are being kept at home in isolation and are being treated with the necessary medicines on the advice of doctors and medical students are being assisted by a pair of retired doctors.

Important demands of the Chief Minister to Prime Minister Modi

  2. Large-scale vaccinations in the UK have prevented them from becoming infected. Given the limited capacity of vaccine manufacturers, we need to be guided as to whether we can increase vaccination by importing vaccines from other countries.
  3. It is not possible to say how useful Remedicivir is, but the state should have adequate supply according to the number of patients as it definitely reduces the duration of patients in hospitals, he said.

The Chief Minister also hoped that the Center would continue to supply regular supply of essential medicines other than Remedicivir.

  1. The study of the double mutation of the virus is necessary

The double mutation of the virus in the state also led to a rapid increase in infection. In this regard, proper study should be done in this regard and genome sequencing should be done so that the right policy can be decided, said the Chief Minister.
