Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also spoke about the controversial policy
London: Facebook has suspended the account of former US President Donald Trump for two years. Because they have been accused of spreading violence among the people. During the investigation, it was found that Donald Trump had promoted violence before the January 6 attack on the Capitol building. That is why there is an outcry among the people. Facebook’s vice president Nick Clegg said in a post on Friday that “experts will be consulted to assess whether public safety threats have been reduced since the incident.”
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also said of the controversial policy that the company does not support any such crime. So this policy applies to Trump. Facebook closed Trump’s account “indefinitely” on January 6, making it impossible for Trump to post anything on his account.
When Facebook shut down Trump’s account in January, Facebook said Trump had spread violence in the U.S. capital and given people a reason to provoke. The AFB said in a statement that it had not given Trump any leeway in the case because of his position. As a result, Trump’s Facebook account has been shut down since January 7. Which will be closed for two years i.e. till January 7, 2023.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is considering revoking some of the suits given to leaders on Facebook. So that it will not happen again in the future.
