In addition to ventilators, Australia will ship personal protective equipment (PPE), one million surgical masks, 500,000 P2 / N95 masks, 100,000 surgical gowns, 100,000 goggles, 20,000 face shields to India. The Australian government will send 100 oxygen concentrators to India. Other essentials are also promised. The supply could reach India next week.

Ban on direct flights
Australia has also banned direct flights between the two countries until May 15 in view of the growing prevalence of corona. Apart from this, despite Dubai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), it will no longer be possible to reach India from Australia. Passengers will have to report a negative test before departure when the flight starts in the future.
