Corona outbreak: Guidelines issued for Ramadan

It has also been clarified that citizens should not walk on the streets without any reason.

This year, the holy month of Ramadan will be celebrated by the Muslim Brotherhood from April 14 to May 13, 2021. During the holy month of Ramadan, it is customary for a large number of Muslims to go to the mosque and pray in public. During this period, Muslim brothers come together for Namaz, Tarawih and Iftar. The holy month of Ramadan should be celebrated simply this year in view of the growing prevalence of corona in the state. No processions, religious, social, cultural or political events should be organized during this holy month of Ramadan.

Guidelines

  • In order to prevent the spread of Corona virus, during the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims should perform regular prayers, Taraweeh and Iftar for all religious activities in their homes without gathering in mosques or public places. Do not gather in the mosque as well as in the open space for Namaz.
  • The holy month of Ramadan should be celebrated in a very simple manner by strictly following all the rules of social distance and hygiene (masks, sanitizers, etc.) without gathering more than 5 persons at a time in public places.
  • During this holy month, Muslims fast for 30 days every morning and break their fast before Maghrib prayers in the evening. Many fruit and other food vendors are expected to throng during this sehri and iftar. Accordingly, the local administration should take appropriate measures in this regard.
  • It is customary to recite the link (Alvida Jumma) on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. For this, a large number of Muslim brothers come to the mosque and recite the link. But this time, in view of the increasing prevalence of Kovid 19, no one should gather in the mosque to recite the link, they should recite the link in their own homes.

-Shab-e-Qadr is a holy night celebrated on the 26th day of the month of Ramadan. On this occasion, after the Taraweeh Namaz, the Muslim brothers recite the Quran and perform Nafil Namaz in their respective mosques throughout the night. But this year, all Muslim brothers should perform religious programs in their own homes.
