Mumbai: There is a shortage of corona in the state. (Coronavirus in Maharashtra) So concern is being expressed. While corona is being controlled in urban areas of the state, lockdown in rural areas is on the rise. Corona havoc is seen in 15 districts in the state. These include Amravati, Buldana, Kolhapur, Sangli, Yavatmal, Solapur, Satara, Ahmednagar, Osmanabad, Akola, Washim, Beed, Gadchiroli, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg. Therefore, the state government has signaled a strict lockdown here. In the meantime, isolate those with corona symptoms without home quarantine, the government has suggested.

Notice to the District Collector of the State Government
The prevalence of corona is increasing in 15 districts of the state. Therefore, a meeting was held on Friday with the Collector and the Commissioner of Police under the leadership of Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat. Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope and Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh were present at the meeting. The meeting lasted for two and a half hours and after this meeting Balasaheb Thorat interacted with the media. At that time, District Collectors and Directors General of Police in 15 districts have been instructed to conduct a thorough survey. Also isolate those who are affected, those who have symptoms without home quarantine. He clarified that he was not satisfied with the home quarantine.

Anxiety over declining patient numbers
Despite lockdowns and strict restrictions in 15 districts, the number of patients is not declining. Especially this week, the positive number of coronaviruses is higher than in the second week of April. Therefore, the Chief Minister entrusted me with the responsibility of holding discussions with the District Collectors and Commissioners of Police in 15 districts. Why is there an increase in the number of patients with strict restrictions? Investigate its causes. It should be repaired like that. The Chief Minister had instructed them to give instructions and guidance in that regard. We held a meeting in this manner today, informed Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat.

Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat said, “Those who have a good system can understand.” But by quarantining people who do not have good arrangements in the house, it disrupts the whole house and also disturbs the outsiders. So under no circumstances should home quarantine be awkward. Therefore, segregation should be arranged for them now. If first aid is given there, he does not have to go to the hospital. The Collector has been instructed to focus on all these matters.

Emphasis on increasing corona test rate
The rate of corona testing has been suggested to increase. Increasing the number of tests can increase the number of positives. But there is no reason to worry about it. Even if the positive number increases, if the patient is treated early, he recovers quickly and goes home and the effect does not reach oxygen, remedivir. It also reduces mortality. “We have instructed everyone accordingly,” Thorat said.
