Before the Olympics in Tokyo ‘Virus Emergency, the competition will be without spectators

A state of emergency will be declared in Tokyo from July 12 to August 22. In a meeting with experts on Wednesday, government officials proposed a state of emergency in Tokyo between Monday and August 22. The Olympics will be held in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8. However, the Olympic Games will be held only in case of emergency and spectators will not be allowed to be present on the field during the competition.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics were postponed due to the increasing prevalence of corona. Although the Corona crisis is now over, it is not over. Against this backdrop, a meeting of government officials was held. At the meeting, officials proposed a state of emergency. At present, there are no strict rules regarding corona in Tokyo. So the number of corona in the city seems to be increasing.

Corona’s re-emergence in Japan
Corona virus infections have been on the rise in Tokyo for the past 19 days. In the past one week, an average of 663 patients have been found daily in Tokyo, while 920 patients of Corona were found in Tokyo on Wednesday. This is the highest number in a single day since May 13. Not only that, but two deaths were caused by the corona virus in Tokyo on Wednesday.
