A rumor caused a crowd at a nearby petrol pump. In fact, it was rumored that petrol pumps would be closed for the next 10 days due to strict lockdown. A large crowd had gathered at two petrol pumps near Kurhe village. At one of these petrol pumps, all the stocks of petrol and diesel ran out in one day. So there is no fuel left at that petrol pump. Due to all these cases, the fuel supply for the next ten days was depleted in one day.
The managers of the petrol pumps were constantly urging the citizens not to pay attention to these rumors. But people were not ready to listen and understand them. People just wanted to buy petrol and diesel, for which they stood in long queues in the scorching sun.
People were so taken aback by these rumors that they lined up for hours in the scorching sun, and as soon as their numbers arrived, people were carrying a week’s supply of petrol. Some even crossed the line. These people came with their families and stood in different queues and took petrol or diesel from whichever number came first.
Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise today
Petrol and diesel prices were hiked in several cities in the state on Wednesday. Today, petrol is priced at Rs 98.36 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.75 per liter in Mumbai. In Pune, petrol is priced at Rs 98.06 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.08 per liter. Similarly, in Navi Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 98.56 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.94 per liter. In Nashik, petrol is priced at Rs 98.76 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.76 per liter.
In Aurangabad, petrol is being sold at Rs 99.60 per liter and diesel at Rs 90.99 per liter. The hike in petrol and diesel prices is likely to continue for the next few days. Already plagued by lockdowns and corona, all the common man is now fed up with inflation.

Prices change daily at 6am
